The history of the Georgios Lafazanis Winery begins in the beginning of the 1950s from Vasileios Lafazanis and the founding of the first family winery in Magoula Attika. Georgios Lafazanis belongs in the second generation of the Lafazanis family and with studies in the Economical University of Athens he decides to continue the long family tradition. The scientific background of Georgios, and his associates, but mainly the passion and love for what is worth being called quality wine has established the Georgios Lafazanis Winery which is respected by many wine enthusiasts as well as the industry in general. In ideal conditions and with love and care the varieties of Moschofilero, Roditis, Sabbatiano, Malagousia, Asyrtiko and Sauvignon Blanc as well as red varieties of Agiorgitiko, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah are created.
